NUS - DLX INNOVATION EXCHANGE展示 at シンガポール国立大学
DLX Design Labは、2022年12月8日～9日にNUS DID展示スペースにて、シンガポール国立大学(NUS)のインダストリアルデザイン学科(DID)及びCUTEセンターと共にNUS - DLX INNOVATION EXCHANGEの展示を開催しました。
2019年より東京大学生産技術研究所のDLXデザインラボとNUSのDID及びCUTEセンターが共同でデザイン主導の学術連携研究プロジェクトを実施しており、本展ではこの機会を通じてこれまでに実現したプロジェクトを紹介します。
4つのデザイン・サイエンス連携研究作品と、DLXデザインラボのデザインリサーチャー左右田智美が監修するNUD DID Experience Design platformの学生が制作した10つの作品を発表しました。
Coral Rescue - オープンアクセスのサンゴ礁保全プロジェクト, EveryTENG - Triboelectric技術を使った新しいインタラクティブシステムデザイン、Talking with Neurons - 人の神経細胞との会話の最初のステップ、AICOM - 民主化的な方法でマシーンラーニング用のデータ獲得を目指すプロジェクトの4つデザインと科学を結んだプロジェクトを発表しました。
初日の夜には、研究・教育・ビジネス・クリエイティブの各分野から50名以上の方々にご来場いただきました。今後も引き続きNUSとDLXのデザイン主導の交流を継続していきます。
これらのプロジェクトは、東京大学潮田記念基金の支援のもと実施されました。
DLX Design Lab hosted the NUS - DLX INNOVATION EXCHANGE exhibition with The Division of Industrial Design(DID), at the College of Design and Engineering together with the CUTE Center at the National University of Singapore(NUS) at NUS DID exhibition space on 8-9 December 2022.
The DID, CUTE center at NUS and DLX Design Lab at the Institute of Industrial Science, from The University of Tokyo have jointly delivered design-led academic collaborative research projects since 2019. In this exhibition, we have presented the projects we have achieved through this opportunity to date. We presented 4 design and science collaboration research works and 10 student works from NUD DID Experience Design platform supervised by a Design Researcher Tomomi Sayuda at DLX Design Lab.
4 design research projects include Coral Rescue - Open Access Coral Conservation, EveryTENG - New Design Directions for Triboelectric Interactive Systems, AICOM - Gamified Data Collection and Communication Design for fair Machine Learning, Talking with Neurons - The first step towards a human-neuron conversation.
On the opening night, more than 50 guests from research, education, business and creative fields visited our exhibition. We are looking forward to expanding the design-led exchange opportunity with NUS. The projects are kindly supported by UTokyo Ushioda Foundation.
