Human-Centered Mobility
2020 - 2024
In collaboration with: UTokyo ITS Center, Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem
The transition to autonomous transportation is introducing new forms of interaction and communication.
Addressing these new conditions requires a fresh outlook. We must question the existing paradigms to pursue a more human-centered approach in our research.
Design can provide an alternative to the current dialogue around autonomous vehicles, which is dominated by engineering and science. Many of the field's challenges relate to human behaviour and emotions that can and should be addressed by design-driven approaches.
